People Helping People DHS Credit Union Debit Card supporting the MasterCard logo is issued to members who have a Share Draft Checking account.

Supporting the MasterCard Logo, our debit card allows you access to the freedom you desire with merchants world wide.  Used similar to a credit card just slide the card at your favorite gas station, grocery store, restaurant or ATM.

The Security and Privacy of your payments are important.  Protect your cards with your own personal password so only you can purchase with them online.  It is easy, safe and free of charge.

In helping our members in reducing fees, DHSCU participates in the Money Tower Network to provide our members FEE FREE ATM Machines.  Click on the Money Tower icon to the left to locate a machine close to you.

**We also participate in an additional FEE FREE network, but due to restrictions you MUST contact the credit union for this ATM Network information.

Important Check Card Information

• The MasterCard Check Card will be issued if you have a Share Savings and a Share Draft Checking account.

• Should the credit union have grounds to revoke a debit card, you may be eligible for our ATM/POS Card.

• Should you loose two cards in a calendar year, you will be assigned the standard grey ATM/POS card.

• Check Cards are both PIN base and Non-PIN base transactions.

• Daily card limit for Check Card is $600.00 per day with the weekend counting as one (1) day.  This limit can be adjusted with a 24 hour notice in writing.

• Daily card limit for the ATM usage is $600.00 but can vary depending on the ATM Machine set limit.  A limit increase for ATM usage can NOT be adjusted.

• $1.00 per use fee will be charged to your account when you use the check card at an ATM machine as an ATM Card. This fee does not reflect any charges incurred at any ATM machine.

• FIRST FOUR ATM transactions are Fee Free on the DHS Credit Union side.  This free fee does not reflect any charges incurred at any ATM machine.

• $8.00 fee for lost/stolen card to be replaced.

• $2.00 fee for a lost/forgotten security PIN.

• DHSCU staff will NOT know your PIN, we will NOT have access to this information and we will NEVER call asking for your PIN.

• $12.00 fee for any card that requires a second embossed line.

• Check Card will arrive in approximately 7 to 10 business days (not counting weekends) after being placed for order.

• In a separate mailings you will receive your PIN number approximately 3 days later.
