toward children. We DO NOT knowingly solicit or collect any data from

DHSCU Web Site:
Our servers collect standard non-identifying information about our web page visitors. This information is viewed only in general group statistics and is not personally identifying. For example, we collect the date, time of visit, and IP address. This information is used to compile standard statistics on site usage only.
If personal identifying information is received via an e-mail, this information will only be used to communicate with you and to handle your request. Unfortunately, e-mail transmissions are not necessarily secure against interceptions. If your communication is sensitive or includes personal information like your credit union account number, social security number or credit card account number, you may want to send it by postal mail instead.

In order to conduct the business of DHS Credit Union, we may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of DHS Credit Union, and follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security of our financial records.
If you terminate your membership with DHS Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you except as permitted or required by law.

DHS Credit Union is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. You can help by following these simple guidelines:

Protect you account numbers, card numbers, PIN (Personal Identification Number) and passwords. Never keep your PIN with your ATM or Credit Card, which can provide free access to your account(s) if your card is lost or stolen. |

Use caution when disclosing your account numbers to other persons. If someone calls you, explains the call is on behalf of the DHS Credit Union and asks for you account number, please beware. Official DHS Credit Union staff will have access to your account information and will not ask for it. |

Keep your information with DHS Credit Union current. It is important that we have the most updated information on how to contact you. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity, we will attempt to contact you immediately. |
